Daverdisse municipality is the westernmost part of Luxembourg Province. It is 130 kilometres from Brussels and 85 kilometres from Arlon.
It covers 5,640 hectares of the Haute-Lesse region and is a tourist area offering countless possibilities for sport, culture and gastronomy.
The municipality has 1,360 inhabitants living in four villages and three hamlets. The altitude at the door of Haut-Fays church is 433.78 metres. The highest point is at kilometre post 15 on the Gedinne road next to the water tower: 440 m. The lowest point, at 210 metres, is at Mohimont.
